The Kobell Secure counterfeit detection system is the most complete single bank note examination method yet devised, and really provides the perfect method for discovering forgeries when currency is printed with two or more types of ink (which is common, but generally unknown). The section of the genuine banknote printed in special ink will disappear under the infrared camera. This function is automatic when the machine is in operation. Forgeries will always be displayed showing no change to the image displayed on the TV screen. This system has to be seen and tested to fully appreciate the dramatic efficiency provided.
